Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh. I am a 24-year-old Australian of Cambodian background -turning 25-- 175 cm tall with an athletic build -78 kg-. Alḥamdulillāh- Allah guided me to Islam around three years ago- and since then I have been striving to increase in knowledge and practice. I am a revert who seeks to build every aspect of life upon the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah according to the understanding of the Salaf. I currently live in Egypt- where I am studying Arabic and the Qur’an full-time. I am also studying the Shāfiʿī madhhab under Ustadh Yasin Munye. I benefit from the works of the classical scholars- including Taqi al-Din Ibn Taymiyyah- while always striving to follow the strongest evidence in accordance with the Qur’an and Sunnah. By the grace of Allah- I am happily married. My wife has encouraged me to seek a second wife for personal reasons- and we are approaching this matter sincerely and with the intention of pleasing Allah. Those who know me describe me as kind- considerate- grounded- organised- approachable- and someone who enjoys making others laugh. I value honesty- good character- and clear communication. I also enjoy staying active- working out regularly- and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Professionally- I own a disability support services company. This provides me with financial stability while allowing me to continue pursuing Islamic knowledge. My greatest goal is to please Allah and remain firm upon true tawḥīd. I want a home where the Qur’an is recited- the Sunnah is practiced- knowledge is sought- and every member of the family encourages one another toward Jannah. I hope- by Allah’s permission- to have a large family and raise righteous children who worship Allah alone and benefit the Ummah. My long-term intention is to live in an Islamic environment where our family can practice Islam openly- seek beneficial knowledge- and raise our children upon the Qur’an and the Sunnah. May Allah grant us all righteous spouses- righteous offspring- and homes filled with faith and tranquility. Āmīn.
