ImUmm Maryam. I am 18 years old and I am a revert to Islam. My journey to Islam is something very meaningful to me- and I am grateful to Allah for guiding me to the truth. I strive to continue learning- improving myself- and becoming closer to Allah through the Quran and Sunnah. I follow the Salafi methodology upon the Athari creed- and I value seeking knowledge- sincerity- and practicing Islam according to the understanding of the Salaf. I am someone who appreciates simplicity- modesty- family values- and a marriage built upon faith- mercy- respect- and cooperation. I was previously married in a long-distance marriage- which ended in divorce. Although it was a difficult experience- it taught me important lessons about patience- communication- responsibility- and the importance of choosing a spouse who shares the same values and goals in life. I would describe myself as someone who is caring- reflective- and committed to personal growth. I value kindness- honesty- emotional support- and creating a peaceful home where both spouses help each other strengthen their relationship with Allah. I enjoy simple and meaningful things in life. I love cooking and find happiness in preparing meals and creating a warm atmosphere at home. I also enjoy gardening and spending time surrounded by nature- whether it is taking peaceful walks outdoors or appreciating the beauty of Allahs creation. I have a love for animals and children- and I naturally enjoy caring for them. I have always had a gentle and patient nature with them- and I appreciate the innocence and happiness they bring. I value a peaceful lifestyle- family time- and creating a loving and comfortable home environment. I enjoy learning new things- improving myself- and spending my time in ways that bring benefit and tranquillity. I am a revert to Islam- and my journey has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Accepting Islam changed my perspective on life and gave me a deeper sense of purpose- peace- and connection with Allah. Since becoming Muslim- I have been striving to learn more about the religion- strengthen my faith- and improve myself step by step. I follow the Salafi methodology upon the Athari creed and try to practice Islam according to the Quran and Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf. I value seeking beneficial knowledge- learning about the correct belief- improving my character- and implementing what I learn in my daily life. At this stage of my journey- I am focused on continuing to grow as a Muslimah- increasing my knowledge- maintaining my worship- and becoming a better person for the sake of Allah. My goal is to build a life centered around obedience to Allah- a peaceful home- and a family that supports each other in faith and righteousness. I hope to continue learning- remain sincere in my worship- and be with a spouse who encourages me in goodness and helps me grow closer to Allah. The scholars and teachers I benefit from include the major scholars of Ahlus Sunnah- such as Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Baz- Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen- Shaykh Rabee ibn Hadi al-Madkhali- Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan- Shaykh Salih al-Luhaidan- Shaykh Abdul Razzaq al-Badr- and Shaykh Abdus Salam al-Shuwayir. I also benefit from the lessons and lectures of students of knowledge- including Ustadh Hassan Somali- Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Wahid- and Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis. I strive to take knowledge from reliable sources- benefit from the explanations of the scholars- and continue learning the Quran- Sunnah- and correct understanding of the religion.
