Because Allah SWT placed the Qawama in the hands of a man and his way of carrying it influences his wife and kids- I-ve put a lot of thought into what matters: 1. A man with taqwa and love for Allah SWT and His sharia— reflected in his goals- his day- the way he carries himself- and how he makes decisions 2. A man with a vision for raising a righteous muslim family and is present. 3. His way of Qawama is as our prophet ﷺ did it with his wives— that is based on gentleness- patience- and care. I value a man I can trust- respect- and follow- knowing his leadership is based on what’s best for our family in this life and the Akhirah 4. Cares about his health and fitness— this is very important to me because since children are amanah from Allah- I-m planning on providing a healthy environment for them. 5. Able to communicate effectively and manage conflicts well— I value emotional safety in my relationships- and I don-t do well with silent treatment- dragging conflicts for days- avoiding discussing the elephant in the room- and manipulation. - Bonus: if he-s interested in dawah or volunteering— I would love to be able to assist him and we be partners in ajr inshaAllah
