About me
-
Born and raised in LA- I have a B.S. in Stats - Data Science from UC Santa Barbara and work as a data engineer at Paramount Studios. My deen is a priority—I’m actively learning Quran- Arabic- and the etiquettes of seeking knowledge- aiming to become a hafith- إن شاء الله. I stay involved in my local masjid and enjoy community work. Family is important to me- and I will continue supporting my retired parents while ensuring my wife and I have our own home. I’m ambitious- love trying new cuisines- and appreciate simplicity along with new experiences. If you enjoy good food and meaningful conversations- we’ll get along well! I’m passionate about staying active—whether through sports- the outdoors- or traveling. I’ve explored Morocco- Turkey- Egypt- Mexico- the UK- and Saudi- and I look forward to adding more to the list- especially returning to Saudi for Umrah and Hajj- إن شاء الله. Sports have shaped my mindset and will always be a part of my life. I’m also deeply involved in community work and social causes- striving to bring people together and create positive change. I believe in empowering the youth and making sure they have the support and guidance to grow.
About my partner
-
I’m looking for a partner who prioritizes deen and is always striving to grow—someone who’s consistent with the basics like prayer- dhikr- and fasting- and understands the importance of tawbah. I’d appreciate someone who knows Arabic or is open to learning- as I’m working to deepen my understanding of the Quran- so having someone help teach me or learn with me would be beneficial. Culture isn’t a barrier for me- what matters most is a strong Islamic foundation. I value a partner who is patient and understanding- especially when it comes to financial challenges or family dynamics. Stability is more important to me than wealth- and I hope to build a home centered on faith and family. I’d love someone who wants kids- enjoys traveling- can be both shy and goofy- and isn’t afraid of a little friendly competition—whether in sports or just having fun. I’d also love someone who likes to stay fit and enjoys being active. Most importantly- I’m looking for someone who embraces her Islamic femininity and is ready to build a meaningful- faith-driven life together.
