I-m seeking someone who has a sound understanding of Islam- particularly in the way the Salaf practiced it- marked by strong adab and beautiful akhlaq. He lowers his gaze- protects himself from free-mixing and anything haram- and observes proper covering of his ‘awrah. He finds joy in surrounding himself with the righteous and the scholars- engaging in gatherings that nourish his knowledge and strengthen his deen. He actively maintains his level of eemaan and taqwa through such company. A loving and caring man- who’s willing to grow together- to be a good partner and a patient parent. He provides- protects- and remains loyal. He’s wise in managing his time- emotions- and decisions. Since being a wife means I’ll eventually become a mother- which is not always easy. I hope my husband will be a forgiving man and supports me. Because earning his ridhā remains one of my deepest concerns. May Allah pair me with someone He loves—for the strength of his deen- his adab- and his akhlaq. Allahumma ameen- ya Rabbal ‘alameen.
