I’m Melissa- a Muslim and a hijabi woman. Alhamdulillah- I try to stay close to my values and my faith. I love science and research- and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Fundamental and Applied Biochemistry. I work as an online biology tutor and as a trainer in the medical and scientific field. I truly feel that I was created to be a researcher- and I’m working hard to achieve that goal- insha’Allah. I’m currently completing my Master’s in Pharmacological Sciences- and I’m planning to apply for a PhD after my master’s. I guess I talked a lot about my academic and professional life- but it’s a big part of who I am. On a personal level- I’m a simple and cheerful person. I like to stay positive- and it makes me genuinely happy when I can help someone. I grew up in a warm and loving family where respect is essential- and that shaped the way I see relationships. I love traveling- doing sports- cooking- and trying new recipes. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family — it’s something very precious to me. When it comes to my mindset- I value honesty- clear communication- and good intentions. I don’t like lies or unclear relationships. I believe that marriage should be built on respect- understanding- and mutual support.
