À Propos De Moi

I-m a confident- outgoing- friendly person. I became a muslim in 1994 aged 16. I love to read Islamic books- and non-fiction and personal development books. I sometimes take online courses and recently completed an advanced course about inviting non-muslims to Islam. I also like to contribute to community and charity projects. I love keeping fit and healthy eating. For some light entertainment I play video games. I like the simple life. My idea of a good time with my wife- is to enjoy a great meal either at home or in a quiet- ambient restaurant- or to spend an evening at the beach or in the park- or a casual shopping trip for clothes or home decorations. What I am really seeking in marriage is pleasant companionship. I want to marry someone with whom I have great chemistry and a strong physical attraction- because interaction and conversation with a loving wife is far more appealing to me than watching TV or browsing the Internet. I intend to be a husband who is not too strict and not too soft-lenient. If you-re serious about marrying a religious man then you need to accept that he is responsible for you and it-s his duty to advise you and to stop you from doing wrong - even if that means being firm sometimes. But of course gentleness is better than harshness in Islam and in marriage. I don-t want to make my wife hate Islam by telling her every rule or every haram thing immediately. We all need time to learn and to improve ourselves at a pace that we can maintain and be comfortable with. So please- be true to yourself- and be committed to working for Paradise. I am trying to practise Islam well- including praying all my prayers at the mosque-masjid- avoiding all haram ways of earning money- maintaining good character and behaving well with everyone.
