Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh- My name is Omar Hatem. I am 24 years old and from Cairo- Egypt. I love Allah and always strive to be a good servant to Him- alhamdulillah. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the English Legal Studies Program at Helwan University -now known as Capital University-- though my official certificate is pending until I complete the required military training for university graduates in Egypt. I have a deep interest in studying law- especially the laws and justice found in the Sharia of Allah. I chose to study law because my goal has always been to help people and stand for what is right. My father — may Allah have mercy on him — raised me to love Allah- fear Him- and strive to follow His path. When I was 18 years old- I made an important decision in my life: to dedicate myself to building a righteous Muslim family — one that is strong spiritually- mentally- and physically. For this reason- I am searching for a halal relationship through marriage. I hope to find a righteous wife whom I can respect- love- and be loyal to. I believe that a wife is a true partner in life- and that a righteous family is one of the greatest blessings a person can build- in sha Allah. My father passed away in 2022 after a car accident- and it was one of the most difficult moments of my life. I ask Allah to forgive him- have mercy on him- and grant him Jannah al-Firdaws. After his passing- I became the head of the family. I am the eldest among my siblings- and I have two brothers and a younger sister. Because of our circumstances- I became responsible for supporting and caring for my family. These experiences allowed me to witness many forms of injustice and corruption in some institutions — whether in courts- hospitals- or elsewhere. This pushed me even more to learn about the religion of Allah- the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ- and the true justice that Islam brought to humanity. Over time- I realized that living according to religious principles in our society has become difficult. Many people mock those who try to follow the deen seriously or adhere to the Sunnah. Despite that- I remain committed to my path and ask Allah to keep me steadfast. I am not searching for wealth or appearances. What I truly want is a halal marriage and the chance to build a righteous family. I believe that one of the greatest trials of our time is anything that distances people from their faith- so I try to protect myself and my family from such influences. Some of my interests include: Learning and understanding the Qur’an Sports- especially calisthenics and flexibility training Reading and self-development Spending time with family Nature and animals Games- cartoons- and anime I appreciate a simple life and value family and religious principles above all. I also do not have social media accounts- as I prefer to spend my time learning- exercising- and taking care of my family. To be honest: I have never been in a relationship with a woman before- and I may feel a little shy when speaking with women. However- I am writing this because I am sincere about seeking marriage and building a stable life based on the obedience of Allah. May Allah grant us all what is best and make our affairs easy.
