Note: Polygyny and dowry seekers please excuse. First and foremost- I-m looking for someone who is consistent in his 5 daily prayers—on time- not just when it-s convenient. Someone who takes his deen seriously- fasts in Ramadan- and tries to follow the Sunnah in his daily life—whether that-s keeping a beard- wearing his trousers above the ankle- or simply striving to embody the character of the Prophet ﷺ. I want a man who lowers his gaze- stays away from haram- and has genuine knowledge of deen—or at least a sincere desire to learn from authentic sources. Someone who listens to proper scholars and stays away from innovations and doubtful matters. Character matters a lot. I pray for a husband who is kind- gentle- and patient—someone who understands that marriage is about peace and compassion- not control and harshness. At the same time- he should have ghayrah—that protective care for his wife and family- without being overly possessive or unreasonable. I value my deen- my peace- and my personal space. So I hope to find someone who respects that—including the desire to live separately after marriage- in a calm and private environment where we can grow together as a couple- while still honoring and loving both families. Simple- practicing- and serious about walking on the path of Quran and Sunnah—that-s the one.
