I am a single- never married Malaysian with no kids- currently based in Riyadh- Saudi Arabia. I was raised in Seremban- Malaysia. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting- a Post-graduate Diploma in Education -TESL-- and a Diploma in Learning Disorder Management and Child Psychology- and I am presently working as a teacher in an International Islamic School in Riyadh since August 2023- alhamdulillah. I value open communication- respectful decision-making- and calm leadership- and while I am quite an extrovert who enjoys meeting people and engaging with the local Muslim community- I also appreciate my quiet personal time. My hobbies include reading- writing- dancing- and relaxing by the beach or waterfall—I recently finished reading Atomic Habits and am currently reading The Barakah Effect. When I travel- I prefer relaxed trips that allow me to meet people and appreciate their history and culture. Although I am not a picky eater- I try to make healthier choices and generally avoid spicy food for health reasons. I come from a family that values eating meals together and praying in jama‘ah- and despite the challenges- my parents emphasized sending us to Islamic schools- which instilled in me the importance of Islamic education and strong family bonds—values I look forward to nurturing in my own family- in shaa Allah. I am very passionate about learning- both in the deen and in self-development- and I invest in classes- lectures- and talks- with some of my favorite Islamic teachers being the late Sh. Muhammad AlShareef- Imam Yahya Ibrahim- and Imam Omar Sulaiman. As part of giving back- I also teach Quran online to sisters. Friends who know me well would say that I often go out of my way to help others- which aligns with my love language of Acts of Service.
