Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah- My name is Rahima- a Southern Ethiopian living in Kenya. Am 27 yrs and have always tried to live my life grounded in the teachings of Islam. I’m a practicing Muslimah who dresses modestly- follows a halal lifestyle- and strives to please Allah in all aspects of life. I value simplicity- humility- and a heart that’s attached to deen above everything. 🧕🏽 Who I Am I would describe myself as humble- hardworking- and very family-oriented. I value respect deeply — both giving and receiving it — and I cherish my culture while always placing my religion first. I’m grateful to live in a supportive Islamic family with both parents and six siblings- all of whom are practicing and guided by the Qur’an and Sunnah. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance- and though I’m a qualified accountant by profession- I currently work in logistics. I’m also quite ambitious and hope to build my own halal business in the future- in shaa Allah. 💍 What I’m Looking For I’m looking for a spouse who prioritizes religion over culture- someone with good character -akhlaq-- humility- and emotional maturity. A practicing Muslim who fears Allah- respects others- values family- and treats people with kindness — regardless of background or race. I’m also open to interracial or intercultural marriage- as I believe Islam encourages us to look beyond race or tribe. Allah says in the Qur’an: “O mankind- indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Verily- the most honorable of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed- Allah is All-Knowing and All-Aware.” — Surah Al-Hujurat -49:13- It’s righteousness -taqwa-- not color- status- or ethnicity- that matters most. 🤍 My Lifestyle - Interests I enjoy quiet- peaceful days. In my free time- I love listening to Islamic podcasts and lectures -especially speakers like Ousama Al shurafaa- Muhammad hoblos- Bilal Asaad and Abu Taymiyyah-- spending time at home- helping my mum- and relaxing with my siblings. My family describes me as the most humble and least dramatic of us all- Alhamdulillah. I speak English- Swahili- Oromo- and understand a little Arabic- and I’m always open to learning more. 📿 My Views on Marriage I’m ready for marriage- in shaa Allah- and I am not interested in dating. Islam teaches us that dating is impermissible because it opens the door to zina- emotional harm- and behavior that displeases Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said: “No man is alone with a woman but the Shaytan is the third one with them.” — -Tirmidhi- Marriage- unlike dating- provides a halal and honorable way to build a relationship based on faith- love- mercy- and responsibility.
