Requirements in a spouse: I am looking for someone who is strictly practising- completes all obligatory acts of worship -this includes praying 5 times a day- fasting- zakat-. Regularly visits their local mosque- prays in jama’ah -where possible-. Has a basic understanding of Islamic sciences- or is studying one -or more- of the sciences at the moment. Someone who is open to seeking knowledge with me. Able to provide financially and can take on responsibilities. Involved in activism-community work and strives to make a difference to the ummah. Has good mannerisms and character- respectful towards all. Someone who is empathetic towards others- has a good understanding of different people-communities. Doesn’t mix culture and Islam. Understands the rights of a husband and a wife - rights of his parents -able to give his wife and parents their due rights- Family orientated and would like to have children. Has a good sense of humour- easygoing. Likes to take on challenges- has a zeal for the outdoor and being adventurous. Takes care of their physical and mental health. Dealbreakers-non-negotiables: - Smoking-vaping-shisha - Unnecessary affiliations-interactions with the opposite gender -including non-mahram cousins- family friends- - No income-job -unable to provide- -please do not reach out if you do not meet any of the aforementioned criteria-
