I would consider a man to be my husband who has the following traits: Character - Who fears and loves Allah- conducts himself with divine accountabity. A man who understands his role in marriage- society and Islam. Someone who has a balance of worldly and Islamic pursuits. I appreciate a man who stays authentic by aligning his words and actions. I expect him to be pro-active about improving his mental- physical and spiritual health. He should also be educating himself on how to be a good husband and father. Loyalty- honesty and a growth centric approach to life are basic qualities I expect from my husband -as I fully work on embodying these qualities myself-. I intend to spend my life with someone who can teach me more about life- share his experiences and lead with responsibility. I value men who express their emotions and vulnerabilities in a healthy way- and are open to feedback. Personality I believe that a healthy mind and body automatically improves personality. I appreciate men who put effort in their style and take fitness and hygiene seriously.
