Alhamdulillah- I was raised in a home where Islam was not merely taught but lived. From an early age- my parents instilled in us the importance of prayer- remembrance of Allah- and adherence to Islamic values. Even before reaching the age of obligation- salah was already a regular part of my life. At the age of seven- I enrolled in an Islamic institution where I learned to read and write Arabic- gained a foundation in the Arabic language- and studied various Islamic sciences including fiqh- hadith- seerah- tawheed- nahw- and others. By the permission of Allah- I completed my Quran recitation and have memorized forty hizb. I am still on my hifdh journey and hope to complete it one day- bi’ithnillah. Seeking knowledge is something very dear to me. While I am currently a first-year medical student- I hope to continue deepening my understanding of Islam throughout my life. My aspiration is not only to benefit myself but also to benefit others- particularly Muslim women- through whatever knowledge and skills Allah grants me. Ultimately- I hope to become a student of knowledge and- one day- teach my children the beauty of our faith. I am still learning Arabic and hope to improve in it continuously. I also find joy in incorporating remembrance of Allah into my daily life- often making dhikr while carrying out household tasks. As for my personality- I would describe myself as easygoing- approachable- and friendly. I communicate well with others and enjoy meaningful conversations. I have a good sense of humour and love bringing smiles to those around me. People often tell me that I bring warmth and positive energy wherever I go. Although I enjoy being around people- I naturally keep my circle small and value genuine connections. I tend to open up gradually and appreciate relationships built upon trust and sincerity. I am also naturally shy and reserved. I strive to approach situations with wisdom and emotional intelligence- balancing emotions with reason and trying to see matters from different perspectives. I value patience- understanding- and communication- especially when resolving disagreements. I believe that misunderstandings are a natural part of being human- and that most issues can be resolved through sincere conversation- mutual respect- and a willingness to listen. I am the middle child in a family of five children- with two older brothers and two younger sisters. Family is very important to me- and I strongly believe in maintaining ties of kinship as Allah has commanded. I dress modestly in loose jilbabs and prefer simple- modest clothing. I am open to wearing the niqab in the future- in shaa Allah- and ask Allah to make that journey easy for me. I am very much a home-oriented person and find comfort in peaceful environments. Home has always felt like a place of tranquility and security for me. Outside of my studies and Islamic classes- I generally enjoy spending time indoors. Some of my favourite hobbies include reading- whether Islamic- educational- or fiction- crocheting- enjoying a good cup of coffee- and experimenting with new recipes. In general- I enjoy simple pleasures and do not place much value on material things. I find happiness in meaningful experiences- beneficial knowledge- good company- and the blessings Allah places in everyday life. Above all- I view marriage as a means of drawing closer to Allah. I hope to build a home where Islam is the foundation- where the Quran is regularly recited- where the remembrance of Allah is abundant- and where peace- mercy- and mutual respect are present. A home that nurtures righteous children who love Allah and His Messenger ﷺ and who strive to benefit the ummah. I do not consider myself perfect- nor do I expect perfection from others. I am continually striving to improve my character- worship- and knowledge- and I hope to spend my life growing in faith and encouraging my future family to do the same.
