I am a revert Muslim- I came into Islam in 2018 Alhamdulillah- and now my mom is also Muslim- I am thankful with Allah-swt- for His guidance. I do all my prayers and adopted the habit to perform the Sunnah of the Fajr and the Maghreb prayers. I do my fast in Ramadan. I learned how to read the Quran applying tajweed rules- and Insha’Allah I hope to memorize it in the future. I strive to take knowledge from: Sheikh Nasir al-Din al-Albani- Sheikh Ibn Baz- Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen- Sheikh Muqbil al-Wadi‘i- Sheikh al-Fawzan- Sheikh Rabee‘ bin Hadi al-Madkhali. I also listen to some lectures form the germantown masjid. About my way to dress- I like to dress modestly- I wear abaya and khimar- I try to keep sober colors -black- brown- dark green- gray-. I don’t put any perfume when I go outside and I try to watch my behavior outside because modesty is more than dress- it’s about how you behave. This is a lifetime journey- and there’s a lot of things that I need to learn yet and improve- but I am willing to learn and make all the necessary adjustments for the sake of Allah-swt-. I am family oriented- caring and affectionate with my beloved ones. I value personal growth and balance. I appreciate simplicity and privacy -I don’t like to post my personal life in social media-. I like to take care of my personal image- I do exercise at home- and I like to eat healthy because our body is an amanah from Allah-swt- and we need to take care of it. I enjoy company but I also enjoy being alone. Some of my hobbies are cooking- doing puzzles- drawing and painting -when I feel creative-- I like to go out for walks and enjoy the nature- I like to read and write- I like hang out with friends and sometimes I watch a movie or a tv serie. I want to have a marriage drive by the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah. Bring a warm and loving home- a place with peace. My purpose is to build a family based on strong values and- Insha-Allah- raise children who are good Muslims and well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to society.
