A bit about me: I work as a project manager in the pharmaceutical field and plan to keep progressing in my career- with the possibility of working abroad if life allows- insha’Allah. When I’m not working- I enjoy reading -mostly non-fiction- but I’m trying read fiction too lol-. I’m currently reading The Kite Runner- if you have any good book recommendations- I’m all ears!! I also like meeting my friends- playing snooker- climbing- and going to the gym- which I’ve really prioritised and enjoyed over the last 3-4 months. I’m do like to watch anime- TV shows- and films- even though I haven’t been watching as much recently. Breaking Bad is hands down my favourite show ever. I love One Piece and Dragon Ball- and I’m currently catching up on films I somehow missed- I watched Avatar for the first time recently -I know- very late but i have some harsh criticism of the film- don-t get me started-. I’m also trying to work on being more mindful and present these days so I try limit phone time and try new hobbies. Things such as 3D printing -its collecting dust right now tbh-- Chess or playing FM26 on my PC- or just even going for a drive or a walk. My faith is super important to me. I’m always trying to build and maintain a personal connection with Allah- whether that’s through watching or attending lectures when I can. Right now- I’m really focused on learning Arabic- as I want a real relationship with the Qur’an and I’d want the same for my children. Parenting and raising the next generation and community work are areas I-m really passionate about for the future- doing something for the Ummah before I leave it is something I was think about so a lot of things I centre my life around is being able to do that -with my wife inshallah-. Personality-wise- I’m sociable but also appreciate my own space. I’m easy to get along with- pretty laid-back- and I’m told I have a very calm temperament. That said- I get very passionate and curious about things and will definitely waffle and mansplain about the most random things- sorry not sorry. Be warned- I am also very witty and may tease you a little.
