I strive to make Islam the centre of my life. I observe my prayers consistently- stay connected with the masjid - community - and I’m continuously learning and practicing the deen. I follow the Hanafi school of thought and Ashari creed- and I’m currently studying under local teachers in areas such as the sciences of fiqh- aqeedah- and tasawwuf with regular weekly classes. In terms of personality- most people would describe me as easygoing- empathetic- funny- and simple. I value meaningful conversations and enjoy both listening and speaking. My sense of humor comes out naturally in conversation- and I’m generally laid-back and appreciative of the small things in life. I also like to stay active. I grew up playing football- cricket- volleyball- table tennis- and swimming. These days- I mostly play cricket regularly and go to the gym. For my mental wellbeing- I enjoy reading- journaling- reflecting- and trying to maintain a positive mindset.
