My ideal partner should be: • A practicing Muslim who sincerely prays 5 times a day 🕌 • Has strong Islamic values and good Akhlaq • Fears Allah and takes his deen seriously • Honest- loyal- trustworthy and sincere • Respectful towards me- my parents and both families • Kind- caring- loving and emotionally mature • Calm and patient- not short-tempered • Never physically- verbally or emotionally abusive • Communicates openly and solves problems maturely • Serious about marriage and building a peaceful family • Family-oriented and responsible • Financially stable and has a halal source of income • Supports my studies- career and personal goals • Respects my opinions- choices and personal boundaries • Makes me feel safe- comfortable- valued and respected • Should be my best friend as well as my husband • Should encourage me towards Islam and help me become a better Muslimah • Should be protective and caring- but NOT controlling or possessive • No drinking 🚫 • No smoking 🚭 • No drugs or any kind of addiction • No gambling • No cheating or flirting with other girls • No inappropriate friendships-relationships with other women • No pornography or other haram habits • Should not have a bad temper or anger issues • Should not lie- manipulate or hide important things • Should have good manners and respect women • Should know how to balance his wife and family respectfully • Should be committed to one wife and faithful throughout the marriage • Should want children and be willing to raise them with Islamic values • Should respect my hijab- modesty and Islamic boundaries • Should be emotionally available and willing to communicate even during difficult times • Should be humble and not arrogant because of his money- looks- family or nationality • Should have good intentions and be genuinely looking for marriage- not time pass Most importantly- I want a husband whose DEEN- character- intentions and treatment of me are beautiful.
