I’m a practicing Muslimah. I was brought up in Turkey and have been living in Jordan for 6 years. I have a BA in Islamic Studies and currently studying for a PhD in Hadith. Once I finish my PhD in Jordan- I’ll be working as a lecturer in Ankara-Turkey. I care deeply about family and adore children- in fact- I’m quite family-oriented. At the same time- I really value hard work. -I mean- as a result of my profession- I spend most of my time reading and writing.- So- I do my best to work hard and spend quality time with my family- striving to find a balance to the best of my ability. I would describe myself as emotional- compassionate- inquisitive- outgoing and disciplined. I have a deep passion for learning and diving into books is something I truly enjoy.

A practicing Muslim- seeking nearness to Allah. Just like the hadith says: “Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a wayfarer-” our longing and motives should be for our permanent home- Inshaallah. Someone who will stand by me on my path to seek knowledge and who also has his own interests and goals. Someone who has taqwa- mercy and respect- is wise and sensible- and understands that being qawwâm means leading with kindness and wisdom. I prefer someone who speaks Arabic. I believe that the keys to a happy marriage are clear communication- companionship- and noticing the positives in a relationship instead of focusing on what may be missing.
