Abu-Ruqayyah

I am someone who values good communication- respectful behavior- and emotional stability. Character and manners are very important to me- and I try to approach people with patience- balance- and understanding. Family holds a central place in my life. I love children- get along very well with young kids- and enjoy giving time and attention to the people I care about. I strive to practice the Sunnah in all aspects of life without going into extremes. To me- Islam is a path of balance- wisdom- and good character. I do not blindly follow trends- fashion- or society’s expectations- but instead try to live according to the values and understanding of the righteous predecessors and the companions of the Prophet ﷺ. I am somewhat traditional in the sense that I believe men and women each have their own roles- responsibilities- and duties within the family- and I take my own responsibilities seriously. I am a dependable and responsible person who thinks carefully before making decisions- and I do not simply follow people without reflection. I try to consider what is truly beneficial and right for myself and for the future I want to build. I am also working on improving my health by becoming active in sports again- so that- in shaa Allah- I can fulfill the role of a good husband and father both physically and mentally.
