A little about me -Alhamdulillah I started learning about Islam in college. Although I was born a Muslim- I don-t recall ever understanding my obligations until then. -Alhamdulillah I was very fortunate to have sisters who supported me through this time and in the transition of wearing hijab and abaya. Ten years on and Allah has only brought me closer to HIM alhamdulillah. -I try my best to adhere to the Quran and sunnah. I do not follow a specific madhhab but I do try to adhere to the most correct opinion. I-ve previously spend about 10 months in Egypt learning Arabic and memorize the Qur-an Alhamdulillah -I use to work as a radiographer prior to going to Egypt. Alhamdulillah I enjoyed my Job. But I thought it was time to dedicate some time to learning the Arabic language. -Alhamdulillah I have a good relationship with my family members. In my nuclear family it-s only me and my sister who are trying to practice Islam- by the will of Allah the rest will follow in due time. -I-m someone who is easy going and I enjoy being in the company of sisters. I would like to think I-m open to new experiences -If you plan a trip- my suitcase is already packed- -Alhamdulillah I have finished the tajweed classes held at Al Muntada and was enrolled at ash-shatibi institute prior to going to egypt. - Currently enrolled in an Alamiyyah course. - I would want to make hijra in the future-especially after having children- if Allah open the door to it and my spouse is able and willing.
