À Propos De Moi

Alhamdulillah- I fulfil all my obligatory prayers and continuously strive to strengthen my relationship with Allah. I am not perfect- but I am always trying to better myself as a Muslim and as a person. I believe in being understanding and compassionate because none of us are without flaws- and we all have room to grow. I enjoy spending time with family and friends- travelling -been blessed to visit 15 countries so far- Alhamdulillah-- exploring new food- humour- playing cricket- and watching movies or TV series. I can switch easily between deep- meaningful conversations and lighthearted laughter. I am straightforward and simple by nature- more of a “get to the point” person than someone who beats around the bush. Also- I will admit I am a bit of a master procrastinator and the definition of “last minute-” but hey- I always get things done before the deadline! Academically- I have earned a PhD from Australia.

Someone honest- trustworthy- and practicing- who strives to maintain the right balance between deen and dunya. A person who performs prayers regularly- fasts- and is genuinely learning and growing in their faith by choice. I value mutual effort- working together to improve ourselves individually and as a couple- both emotionally and Islamically. I believe the foundation of a strong marriage lies in trust- communication- and compromise- along with a shared understanding of the fiqh and responsibilities of marriage in Islam.
