Fatimah Zahra A

I’m 25 years old and currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Education at Aalborg University. I’m done with my first year- Alhamdulillah. I was born in Malaysia and moved to Denmark as a child- where I’ve grown up and built my life. I live with my mother- my sister- her husband- and their children—we are a close and loving family- and they mean a lot to me. My background is a mix of cultures: my father -may Allah have mercy on him- was Rohingya from Myanmar- and my mother is originally from Bangladesh. While I was born in Malaysia- I feel deeply connected to Denmark- where I now call home. I also have family living in different parts of the world—my brother in Saudi Arabia- one sister in Thailand- and another in Myanmar. I speak Danish- English- and Burmese fluently. I enjoy traveling- learning new things- and staying active. I like swimming- volleyball- and badminton. I also love nature- quiet walks- and spending quality time with my family. Some of my favorite moments are when we cook together- watch movies on the weekend- or play with my sister’s children. InshaAllah- after finishing my studies- I hope to find meaningful work- settle down- and build a life with a partner who shares the same values. I am here with the sincere intention of finding someone for marriage. I believe in taking the time to get to know one another in a halal way—learning- growing- and building a strong foundation before starting a family. Ideally- I would like to have children 1–2 years into marriage- but if Allah wills otherwise- I trust in His perfect timing.
