-My Islam -with detail- Coming from a practicing Muslim household- I had a fairly conservative upbringing but I-d say around 2020 I had a major change of my moral compass. I connected to Allah like never before and since then my journey has had ups and down- mostly towards getting closer to Him ❤ Also around this time I learnt much more about myself... the way Allah SWT fashioned me- the way I function -or malfunction as per some 🙃- In the end it has only brought me closer to Allah and that-s what counts... it-s worth the painstaking journey! In 2023 Allah called me to His house with my family. It was one of my big time goals and by Allah-s Grace I was able to achieve after much hardship and multiple failed attempts. I thought I-d be content with one time visit but I was wrong... the heart always earns for more! I strive to achieve even bigger goals now إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ . Secretly desire and aim to enter Jannah through Baab Ar-Rayyan but إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ if I manage to be an obedient wife I might as well enter through any of it-s doors :- I pray that Allah bless me with spouse who is more knowledgeable and better than me in deen and who will be a good leader for me and my children bi izni-llah [If you are someone looking for sisters who claim to be on the Salafiyya- I am afraid I am not the best fit for you. I consider myself just a newbie in the Hanbali school- while I was brought up in a Hanafi household. I chose what is acceptable and accessible to me in my given circumstances بإذن الله I revere all my Ustadhs even those that separate themselves as "Salafis". I still benefit from the knowledge that they share at the same time distance myself from partisanship of any group-sect. And I sincerely pray Allah guides US ALL to الصراط المستقيم] As an expat in UAE I had a pretty modest lifestyle here for past 25 years Alhamdulillah. I-m the eldest of three so had to share some familial responsibilities early on. I-ve had a graveyard of hobbies! Growing up I loved to explore new ways to express my creativity be it baking- gardening- home decor or journaling. Anything to do with cottagecore or old school vintage vibes I adore 😍 I find the need to let out my creative energy very much crucial- for me to be able to function and be my best self. So a partner who takes care and allows me that space will be highly appreciated. My kind of good time with friends is either long walks and catch-up once-twice a year or prepare a hearty meal for them. I am not really good at keeping in touch 24-7 even with the closest of friends- basically bad at small talk and crave for more longer-deeper conversations. Also by the grace of Allah recently adopted a cat into our home or should I say the cat chose me 😂 Anyways it-s lovely to be able to take care of her and have some good annoyance in our lives 🥰 By the Grace of Allah I started to wear jilbab-niqab since last year and I ask Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ to keep me firm in this act of worship.
