About me
-
Right now- my days are dedicated to managing a school and teaching kindergarten and elementary students- alongside finishing my research thesis on student character development. Because of my work- my life requires a lot of structure- patience- and focus. However- while I love what I do- my ultimate priority is my future family. I am entirely willing and happy to step away from teaching after marriage to dedicate my full focus to my husband and our home- if that is the best path for us. Personally- I am deeply introverted and highly analytical. I am someone who focuses heavily on lifelong self-growth. In my free time- you will usually find me reading- learning- or quietly doing some skill I learned somewhere. I love maintaining natural beauty and biological order. I live a minimalist lifestyle- I stay very calm under pressure- and I am fiercely protective of the peace inside my home. My goal is a marriage built on Surah Ar-Rum -30:21-—a home of true Sakinah -tranquility-- Mawaddah -affection-- and Rahmah -mercy-. I hold a strict- traditional view of Islamic marriage. I believe that obedience -Ta-ah- to a husband is mandatory- as long as it aligns with the Deen. Because I am submitting to this profound level of leadership- I need a man whose capability- emotional stability- and judgment I can completely trust. When a husband leads with quiet- righteous strength and takes on the heavy responsibilities of our lives- it gives me the freedom to soften. It allows me to pour my nurturing energy- my love for learning- and my intellect entirely into our home- raising our children- and supporting his vision. I have a very observant- strategic mind. Through Shura -consultation-- I use my intellect to protect my husband-s blind spots and ensure his success. I thrive under a man who is unthreatened by a capable wife- and who values her insight as a tool for the family’s growth. Finally- I try to practice Qawlan Sadida—speaking words of clear- direct justice. I do not use passive-aggression- I don-t give the silent treatment- and I don-t expect my husband to read my mind. I offer my partner the absolute safety of knowing exactly where he stands- and I expect that same mature clarity in return.
About my partner
-
I process things logically and literally. I cannot function in an environment of unspoken tension. The Prophet ﷺ said the truly strong man is the one who controls himself when angry. I need a man who can address frustrations directly and calmly. True Islamic leadership requires humility. I am looking for a partner who approaches adversity as "us versus the problem." I need someone who takes ownership when plans fail and course-corrects without letting his ego get in the way or blaming circumstances. I am looking for a husband who is deeply anchored in his own Deen- personal growth- career- discipline and ambitions. Because I need quiet focus to read- learn- and maintain our home- I cannot thrive in a dynamic that requires constant texting or emotional fusion. I love the intimacy of parallel companionship—two people dedicated to their own continuous growth- finding peace together in the same room.
