Uk residents only please. Preference is for Pakistani ethnicity but open to others from urdu-Punjabi speaking backgrounds. I have created this profile for my daughter. I will be managing this account on her behalf. The following has been written by her. Islam is a very important aspect of my life. Alhamdulillah I observe hijab- pray salaah- read Quran almost daily and fast during Ramadan. I attended madrassah for 10 years which has given me a sound basis for Islamic fiqh- aqeedah and the seerah. I am always trying to learn more- and hope I can find someone who will encourage and study with me. I believe that everyone is on their own journey. No one is perfect and as an ummah- it is our duty to support Muslims at every stage of their path with non-judgemental kindness and compassion. I always want to be doing more for the community- especially for women and the youth- which is why I like to attend halaqahs at the masjid- jummah where I can and getting involved -and helping to plan!- with activities designed for the Muslim community. I enjoy reading- drawing- writing- watching shows-movies -especially Studio Ghibli-. Long walks by the sea was something I enjoyed whilst studying in Scotland. I like to call myself a collector of useless facts and will rotate around lots of different interests to varying degrees. I love travelling and exploring new places- and I hope to find someone who is up for road trips and seeing the world with me. I-m currently working as an F1 doctor In terms of future career aspirations- I am hovering between General Practice and Psychiatry -specifically CAMHS-. Mental Health is a topic extremely close to my heart and I want to be able to use my professional skills to break down barriers within the Muslim community. At some stage I would like to go part time so I have more time to do the things I love.
