I-m 18 I-m currently unemployed I am currently taking a gap year and I-m planning to travel to learn Arabic and quran in 2 months time inshallah on December I-m trying to complete half my deen I-m not saying I-m deserving for marriage i believe it-s fard for me to try even if I-m currently unemployed رحمة الله عليه Imam Al-Bukhari said: "Marriage for the youth in the time of trial [fitnah] is more obligatory then Hajj." [Fatawa Manar Al-Islam 2-575] Qur-an - Surah An-Nur -24:32-: وَأَنكِحُوا الْأَيَامَىٰ مِنكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ إِن يَكُونُوا فَقَرَاءَ يُغْنِهِمْ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعُ عَلِيمٌ "And marry those among you who are single and the righteous among your male and female servants. If they are poor- Allah will enrich them out of His bounty. And Allah is All-Encompassing- All-Knowing." And at the time of sahabah they would marry even if they had not enough to eat so I-m looking for a serious marriage
