At the heart of who I am is my relationship with Islam. It’s not just a label—it’s my compass. I’m a practicing Muslim who strives to live a life guided by sincerity- mindfulness- and the values our deen teaches: kindness- humility- respect- honesty- and inner peace. I’m not perfect—none of us are—but I’m always aiming to grow- learn- and stay close to Allah ﷻ in everything I do. I appreciate the beauty of someone who is on their own spiritual journey- as long as there’s genuine belief and mutual support for practicing the faith together. I deeply value emotional connection and understanding others beyond just surface-level talk. I’d say emotional intelligence is one of my strengths—I’m someone who naturally picks up on feelings and moods- and I care about making people feel seen and understood. I thrive in conversations that matter- but I’m also that guy who will crack a self-deprecating joke just to make you laugh on a stressful day. Humor is a big part of how I bond with people. I lean towards dry wit- satire- and subtle sarcasm—not to mock- but to make the moment lighter. Whether it’s laughing about how my “experimental” cooking turned into a mini disaster or trading funny observations about life- I genuinely believe shared laughter is one of the best ways to build closeness. By profession- I’m in data science—my days revolve around statistics- modeling- and solving real-world problems using math. It’s a field that constantly keeps me intellectually challenged- which I love. But beyond the technical side- I’ve always had a curious mind. I’m the type of person who randomly dives into obscure topics like the philosophy of time- the psychology behind habits- or how spy networks worked during the Cold War—just for fun. That curiosity extends beyond books and screens too. I enjoy exploring nature- playing football -soccer-- and hiking. There-s something spiritual about being outdoors—long trails- sore legs- fresh air—it’s like therapy without saying a word. I also cook -sometimes badly- sometimes surprisingly well-- and I believe trying new recipes is a fun form of self-expression
