السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I am 23 years old- born and raised in the Chicagoland area- Illinois- to Palestinian parents. I am one of three siblings and I am the oldest. I enjoy spending time with family and friends- attending halaqat- and enjoying nature. I personally am not a fan of social media and prefer to spend my time doing better things. I do my best to grow my faith and get closer to Allah -SWT-. I deeply value communication and honesty in all aspects of life. I try to maintain a calm and balanced attitude. I’m generally laid-back and enjoy bringing a bit of humor to life. I love connecting with people in meaningful ways. I try my best and tend to follow the Quran and Sunnah according to the understanding of the righteous predecessors and scholars- and I’m always striving to improve in my deen. I am currently enrolled in an active Quran Hifth program. Alongside my studies- I teach Quran at my local mosque. Alhamdulillah- I am certified in multiple levels of Tajweed and am working towards obtaining an ijazah- in shaa Allah. I prefer to follow the safer opinions in religious matters and avoid doubtful issues. I attend the masjid regularly and prefer to avoid places with free mixing. I’m not perfect- but I’m continuously working on improving my worship and character.
