I want a person who knows what it means to go through mental and spiritual demons and get back up each time. Someone who has a soft heart- is genuienely chivalrous-observant- attentive- charitable and respectful. A little idealistic about love but brave and action-oiented enough to take steps to make the relationship that way- someone who doesnt blame their spouse for making them feel "guilty"- gives silent treatment or deflects blame- is able to assess their own emotions accurately and willing to communicate their needs and wants appropriately and means their apologies -as shown by action-. Someone who is aware of the role of a husband and a father as a protector and provider-not the south east asia-patriarchal version- and that spouses are meant to be a source of peace for each other - strictly against the im your ruler- 1 degree above you mindset- who genuinely wants to marry someone for this life and hereafter. Someone open-minded and willing to talk about everything -to discuss prefrences- boundaries- struggles- be it relegion- intimacy- past trauma- anything else. Strictly against someone who will shout or raise their voice- who thinks mocking or degrading is a way of bonding- the sterotypical alpha-nice guy.
