I try to do my best to practice Islam according to the Sunnah I aspire to continue progressing in learning Islamic knowledge which is a life long aim and commitment of mine. I love the Qur’an- I try to recite it- memorise it and listen to it as much as I can. I have weekly Quran and Arabic classes- alhamdulilah so far I ve memorised half the Quran- and have the goal of completing the memorisation of it in the near future أسأل الله التوفيق والقبول I regularly attend Islamic talks and enjoy studying the books of the scholars. Alhamdulilah I ve completed books on fiqh- aqeedah and seerah. I love going through biographies of the Salaf as they are very inspirational to me and I hope and aim to resemble them inshaallah. I come from a religious family that like me have lived in the Middle East and prioritise religion over culture- are very open minded- they speak Arabic- learning Quran and enjoy seeking knowledge. Although I was born in the UK- Allah -swt- blessed me to have grown up in the muslim lands from a very early age -aged 2-- including living in Egypt for 2 years and in Saudi Arabia for close to a decade- allowing me to go to Arabic tahfdih schools which meant I was able to pick up Arabic from a very early age as well as live amongst and pick up on Arabic culture. Later on I went to international schools where I had friends from all over the world. Throughout that time I developed a deep appreciation and love for the Muslim lands and Islamic culture. I like to travel to Muslim countries especially to Saudi Arabia - where my father works- therefore- I’ve been visiting regularly since my childhood to today.
