Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah Wabarakatuh. Hey I hope this message finds you in the best state of Iman and health. I came across your page on a platform and I felt I can respectfully drop my sincere expression and if Allah-s will we actually can get along in an Halal marital. My name is Yusuf- a 32-year-old Nigerian Muslim man. I work in the financial sector and also do rap- videography- and editing. I strive to live simply- responsibly- and in devotion to Allah. I’ve been married for 2 years- but I’ve known my wife for 5. We were close friends for 3 years before marriage. From the beginning- I made it clear that I wouldn’t marry her as a Christian unless she was genuinely convinced and ready to revert to Islam. I was patient and sincere- believing we could walk the path of Deen together. Unfortunately- I’ve come to realise she only played along emotionally. She’s a good and caring woman- but not spiritually aligned with what I deeply desire. She has a son from a previous relationship who is now 10 years old. We haven’t had any children of our own yet. I agreed to the marriage because my intentions were purely for the sake of Allah — following the example of our beloved Prophet ﷺ- who married women from various backgrounds: single mothers- orphans- even non-Muslims who later accepted Islam through his character and guidance. I hoped my situation might be similar. Sadly- she has made it clear that she has no interest in becoming a Muslim. I feel disappointed- but I accept that it’s Allah’s will — perhaps a test to help me grow into a better Muslim. Now- I’m seeking a sincere- practising Muslimah from any part of the world. She may be a single mother- older or younger- or even living with a disability — none of that matters. What I seek is faith- good character- and someone who also wants to build a life that pleases Allah. Maybe- through this new union- Allah will also guide my current wife. But my intention is pure: to find peace and purpose with someone whose heart beats for the sake of Allah like mine does. May Allah bless us all with righteous companionship- strong Iman- and hearts that seek His pleasure always. Ameen. Jazakillahu Khairan.
