About me
-
I enjoy reading- writing- and meaningful conversations. Lately- I’ve been thinking about getting into horseback riding and knitting. My long-term goal is to become a neurosurgeon- not necessarily out of a desire to work full-time- but because I find neuroscience fascinating and surgery seemed like an exciting challenge. However- I wouldn’t pursue working as a neurosurgeon until after my children are older and in school. My main focus is on gaining higher education rather than building a career. Another is to be a mujtahid- I want to raise my children in an Islamic household and have them be educated on their deen so I must first be. I’d like for my husband to do the same or strive towards it. Giving back is important to me—I plan to donate most of my personal earnings to charity rather than using them for myself. I wouldn’t prefer working full-time- maybe just once or twice a week in the far future- as right now- I’m content with focusing on my studies. Volunteering is a big part of my life- and I dedicate much of my week to it- which keeps me busy but fulfilled. I went to an all-girls school and was also homeschooled. Family is important to me—I’m the eldest daughter and live with my mother- as my father has passed away. In terms of marriage- I wouldn’t want children immediately—I’d prefer to build a bond of trust- mercy- and compassion with my husband first. When it comes to parenting- I believe the father should take on more of the disciplinary role- while still being compassionate and soft with the children. I see myself being the more lenient parent since I tend to be soft-hearted with kids- so I would want my husband to provide structure and discipline in a balanced way. As a wife- obedience to my husband is a given- but I also need to be listened to—I cannot stand being ignored. Communication is extremely important to me- whether in marriage or friendships. If someone cannot express their concerns properly without resorting to insults or yelling- I simply cannot be around them. I also do not like violent behavior—screaming- throwing things- or aggressive outbursts would make me feel unsafe and break my trust. I need someone calm- doting- and composed- even in anger. I enjoy quiet nights and would love to live somewhere far enough from neighbors that I could go outside without a niqab. Traveling and seeing new places is something I’d like to experience as well. I need a man who is intellectual- direct- and a natural leader. He should be dominant and capable of directing others. Someone who knows what he wants and is firm in his beliefs- yet understanding and respectful in how he expresses them.
About my partner
-
Ideal personality type: INTJ- ISTJ- or ENTP. I’m looking for someone who is confident- emotionally intelligent- and deeply loyal. Ideally- he has a calm yet strong presence- someone who may not always express emotions openly but shows his care through actions. He is protective in a reassuring way- values sincerity- and is unwavering in his commitments. Personality-wise- I appreciate someone who is independent- intelligent- and has a sense of humor—someone who enjoys lighthearted teasing but also knows when to be serious. In terms of interests- I’m drawn to someone who enjoys meaningful conversations- has a strong sense of ambition- and values personal growth. Whether he has a passion for learning- traveling- or staying active- I admire someone who is driven and well-rounded. Look-wise- I appreciate someone tall- with a strong yet lean build. Sharp features- an expressive gaze- and a naturally put-together style are things I tend to find attractive. Dynamic-wise- I value a relationship built on mutual respect- deep understanding- and a sense of fun. Someone who challenges me yet supports me- who teases but is deeply protective- and who may appear reserved to others but has a soft side reserved only for the person he loves.
