I am a middle child of 4 children to two amazing parents. I was born and raised in Dubai- completing my education all the way up to the undergraduate level. My interest is in computer science- namely- the different aspects of software- from robotics- game design- virtual reality- brain computer interfaces and so much more. My interests pushed me further- and now- Alhamdulillah- I-m about to graduate with a Master-s in Computer Science from Cal Poly Pomona. I-m also really grateful to have found a company offering me a Software Engineering job upon graduating. InshaAllah- I hope to run my business one day related to the many interests I have in this field- and I-m really interested in pursuing a Ph.D. down the line- but it is still something I-m considering. As a Muslim- I do my best to uphold the basics: praying 5 times daily- trying to read the Qur-an -even if it-s one or 2 verses everyday-- and I try to be as charitable as I can be. I-m also trying to be more frequent with Umrah- and InshaAllah- hope to do Hajj soon. I-d like to think of myself as caring and generous- and I hope my friends think of me in the same light- but I-ve seen so many amazing Muslims that I feel that I-m not doing enough. InshaAllah- I-d love to meet someone who I can healthily compete in the deen with- and that we can both rise together in ranks in the eyes of Allah -SWT-. I-m a quiet and awkward personality when you interact with me the first time- but once you get to know me- you-ll question why you ever did. I-m not great at speaking my mind- often stuttering and yapping- but I try my best. I do gain immense energy when I-m around the people I love and care for. Aside from that- I-ve been working on myself quite a bit. I-ve started exercising- and have been doing so consistently for almost over a year- Alhamdulillah. I also try to take part in Islamic lectures during the week at my local masjids- and actually have taken a Fiqh class in Marriage and Divorce- as I wanted to better understand the rulings that have been established in our deen regarding such. The latest class I-ve attended was the Tafsir of Juz Ammah. InshaAllah- I-d also love to begin volunteering more- especially at orphanages. I-m hoping to do these things up on graduating.
