About me
-
Bismilla- as-salatu wa-salam alaa- rasululah I have been raised in a household where my parents instilled in me a love for Allah and his deen and to love and care for each other. I take a holistic approach in acting upon Islam and believe actions speak louder than just words. I have attended both Islamic schools -primary- and secular educational institutions up to university. I am self employed as a sports therapist - physio and help my patients recover and rehabilitate. I lived in Saudi Arabia for a year when my father worked there as a teacher- it was amazing to have seen the haramain at such a young age. I then performed hajj with my mother in 2018. I currently live with my parents and younger sister and brother. I have an older brother who is married and lives with his wife. I am usually quiet and calm in gatherings and respect what other-s have to say as long as this does not compromise Islam. I try to stay fit -gym- male-only swimming- and going out with my family. I will on occasion go out with friends for a meal. I enjoy travelling and visiting new places. Marriage is the next important step and an opportunity to put into practice what I have learned. I attend the masjid when I am able and will pray at my workplace or home when it is prayer time. There are times when I am doing a home-visit -work related- where praying on time may be difficult so will pray when I get home. I am a non-smoker- no shisha- etc.
About my partner
-
My future wife should be calm- caring- sensitive to each other-s needs- respectful to people- these are core values our deen teaches us. Marriage is a journey that may throw unexpected surprises - changes so she should be a person that can see the bigger picture and be willing to adapt when necessary- as would I. My future wife should also be realistic and be able to live within our means to avoid debt- interest- etc. Each other-s company and time is more valuable than materialistic things.
