Salaam- I-m a Software Engineer based in Ontario- Canada. I grew up in Dubai- and my family is based there- I am ethnically Indian. I enjoy Hiking- Squash- Reading and Travelling and like to spend some of my free time on Qur-anic Studies and attending Halaqas. Being out in nature always uplifts me and I go for casual walks daily without fail. I also occasionally watch TV shows if there is something interesting airing. I try to balance Deen and Duniya and place Deen above when they are in conflict. I see the Deen as my way of life and actively apply it to my day-to-day outside prayer as well and would also like to see that in a partner. I work hard to grow my career and am ambitious with the goal of building long term economic security for my family. However I don-t attach myself to wealth- luxury and the duniya as money can-t buy a righteous and happy family :- Every place has it-s pros and cons. I plan to stay in Canada for the next few years however in the long term- I-m still figuring out if it makes sense to start a family in Canada-US or if the middle east would be a better environment in terms of Deen and economic conditions. Just some food for thought.
