I’m an introverted- outdoorsy person who feels most at home in quiet places. I’m naturally creative and hands-on- always learning something new and diving deep into whatever catches my interest. I enjoy books- calligraphy- and recently ice skating -bruises included-- with archery and horseback riding next on my list. Long term- I want a simple- intentional life built around Islam- travel- learning- and experiences. Lately- I’ve been focused on personal growth and working toward my paramedicine license- and moving into a career in nonprofit or NGO work. Islam is at the center of my life and shapes every aspect of it. It is what I live by from being zabiha halal and wearing the niqab to taking initiative to gain knowledge. I-m not perfect and I may falter- but I try. I plan to make hijrah in the future inshallah. I thank Allah for it all.
