I was born and raised in New York. I’m generally a calm- thoughtful person with a few fun- spontaneous days sprinkled in—like a confetti cupcake. Friends often describe me as a “social introvert-” someone who enjoys good company but also values quiet time. When I’m not in serious mode- I love trying new things—bowling- catching a movie- exploring new restaurants- or just about anything that sparks curiosity. Of course- there are days when I’m happily wrapped in a blanket- watching a movie or reading. I’m always striving to grow in my faith and become a better Muslim. I am traditional in some ways and modern in other ways. My friends often say my perspective on religion is open-minded and thought-provoking- which I take as a compliment. It means I’ve helped someone see Muslims as approachable and relatable—just like anyone else.

My ideal partner would be a true companion and support system—someone who walks beside me through life’s journey. He would be a practicing Muslim who is kind- generous- loving- and romantic- with a sense of humor because laughter makes life brighter. I value someone who enjoys meaningful conversations but is also comfortable sharing quiet moments together. I hope for a man who looks forward to building a family and caring for that family as a team. A gentleman who values his own health and the well-being of his loved ones- and who strives to be his best both in this life and for the Hereafter- inspiring me to do the same.
