I am an assistant electrical engineer with a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering. I am an aspiring student of knowledge. I love seeking -and implementing- ‘ilm. So far I have learned basic nahw and sarf and I am enrolled in more classes for hadith- fiqh- tafseer- etc. I also am memorizing Quran الحمدلله and I’m teaching some revert friends Quran-reading Arabic. At my university masjid in Seattle- I loved to volunteer and get involved. Also- at my hometown masjid I stay involved with the community and help out as much as I can الحمدلله. In my free time I like to play basketball- spend time with family- hike-spend time outdoors. I like cats - trying new food-dessert too. I don’t have any health concerns الحمدلله. Some additional info about me is that I wear my pants above my ankles- I don’t have any non-mahram friends- I am against free mixing- and I lower my gaze. All of these are in an effort to follow the shariah of Allah inshaAllah. I also applied to 3 Islamic Universities in Saudi Arabia and I am waiting to hear back on acceptance بإذن الله . As a husband- I aim to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ in every facet of my life. I believe my role as a husband is to be a provider- protector- and leader. I believe having gheerah over my wife and family is important and follows the way of the Prophet ﷺ and the salaf.
