I’m looking for a man who is soft-spoken- of good character- emotionally mature- intelligent- and responsible. His sense of ghayrah -protective modesty- should be so strong that even his own brothers would never see me unveiled — let alone any other non-mahram! He should have a calm nature- and be someone who listens- thinks- and then decides wisely — like a man of understanding. I prefer to stay away from men who shout unnecessarily- become angry quickly- or make impulsive decisions without thought or reflection. He can be sociable but should be conscious about mahram and non-mahram boundaries. A little humorous and light-hearted with his wife can make mutual understanding more beautiful — but only with his wife- not with other women! Instead of wasting time on social media- I hope he enjoys reading- learning- and engaging in meaningful knowledge — whether Islamic or scientific or anything useful. Above all- I’d say — I- too- prefer a life of reflection- books- silence- and thoughtful words and actions. So I hope for a life partner who shares the same mindset- in shaa Allah.
