Alhamdulillah- I am someone who try’s to be an active Muslims who is striving to better myself every day. I’ll start with the most important and difficult part of my story: I am divorced through Khulaa- and I am open to discussing the details with anyone seriously interested. I have three daughters whom I continue to support financially and maintain regular contact with. I take full responsibility for my shortcomings that contributed to the divorce. Since then- Alhamdulillah- I have worked hard to address and improve on my weaknesses. Though I don’t claim to be perfect- I can say with confidence that my character has developed for the better- and I continue to learn from the past. I am easy-going- social- and someone who looks out for others. I try to remain open-minded- and I aim to see the bigger picture in all situations. I enjoy meaningful conversations and believe communication is vital for any successful relationship. One of my traits is that I tend to talk a lot- but insha’Allah in a positive and engaging way. Most times. I actively try to practice my deen: I regularly attend the masjid- pray in congregation- and dedicate time to Islamic learning through reminders- talks- and classes. I am passionate about volunteering for charitable causes and helping initiatives that support the deen. I have a strong attachment to the ummah and try to stay mindful of those who are suffering worldwide. In my free time- I enjoy spending time outdoors — walking by rivers- forests- and appreciating Allah’s creation. I am someone who values romance but believes in living a simple- non-wasteful life.
