22 from Sudan- born and raised in New Jersey- student of knowledge if Allah makes it easy- currently studying looking to get a bachelors Description from his friend: If I can summarise Ahmed it-ll be the following and this is after living with him for 7 months and being with him daily- day and night for hours. And knowing him-speaking to him regularly for another 5 months. A calm- often quiet- to himself guy- reserved- minds his own business. Very private person. Very kind and helpful- goes out of his way to help someone or bring them in. Very thoughtful. Respectful. Good manners. He-s not about wasting time- or going out- or doing things of no importance or purpose. He-s more indoor and more introvert. Though he can go on to talk for a while with a close friend. he-s also self-critical He has a great family. He-s not the best at communicating- as in via phone also not the best at expressing himself or his feelings- he-d rather keep things to himself or nip any issue in the bud. His best expression of love is acts of services or spending time. Can be quite forgetful for minor things. If he does he get angry or annoyed- it-s controlled and he-d rather just stay quiet and be to himself. If I do criticise him - advise him- he listens and takes it on and tries to improve. Studying his deen. He holds his aqeedah and tawheed dearly- studies it and is on the way of ahlul sunnah Active mosque goer and attendee of lessons. Involved in his community though his quiet and reserved nature can stop him from getting more involved where he can be of good help Scholars I listen to: Shaykh Al-Albani- Ibn Baz- Ibn Uthaymeen- Muqbil bin Hadi- Muhammad Amaan Al-Jaami- Salih Al Fawzan- Sulayman AlRuhayli- AbdulRazzaq Al-Badr and his father Abdul-Muhsin Al-Abbad- and more… Little about me these past years: Went to uni for a bit -2020-21- then left as I didn’t know what I wanted to do and wasn’t motivated enough to keep going. I then learned about the deen slowly slowly by the mercy of Allah late 2021 and then slowly learned about Salafiyya by way of western dawah. Then went to Kuwait for a short program then came back to the US for a couple of months. Went back again -to Kuwait- this time for 7 months then Egypt for 1 month. Since then I’ve been working towards going back to Egypt for Quran and Arabic and that would be my first destination with my spouse may Allah make it easy Then moving to a better developed Muslim country in the long run InshaAllah Hobbies-Interests: Getting married Reading Studying Spending time with family Traveling to study under scholars Moving to Muslim country -Egypt first for Arabic and Quran- -Kuwait or Saudi for long term-
