I am 25 years old and am looking to start a family in Birmingham. My family and friends would describe me as a confident- loving and driven individual. I love adventures- walks- drives and even sometimes a hike. Otherwise- I spend my spare time with my nieces and nephews- listening to podcasts and- my favourite- trying different restaurants and cuisines. I play table tennis and go gym with my friends occasionally but am trying to work on my fitness. I currently work as a software engineer in Birmingham- and have worked here for the past 7 months in light of graduating last summer- attaining a first in my degree. Regarding my career- I aim to either work the corporate ladder or am currently considering taking on a PhD with AI and lung cancer. I pray the 5 daily prayers and come from a sunni practising Pakistani family alhamdulilah. I have completed umrah twice and am planning to complete Hajj with my father next year in shaa Allah. However- I am far from where I want to be from an islamic perspective and so plan to further my islamic education throughout my life.

I am looking for a sister with a similar age to mine -25- or younger. No real preference for height. Ideally- I want a loving- supportive and God conscious partner- with an understanding of the islamic roles for being a wife. I would like someone at least open to the idea of Hijrah to a first-world muslim country at a later point in life. There are a number of reasons- why I want to do Hijrah but the children in shaa Allah is one of the main reasons. So a sister that can understand my position would be best. I would really like to see an aptitude for motherhood. In terms of career- I wouldn’t want a career-driven sister- rather someone who sees the invaluable experience of being a wife and mother wholeheartedly. If a sister is working now that is completely fine- but when children come in to play I would expect her to fulfil the islamic responsibilities. In this aspect- my views are more traditional. From an islamic perspective- I believe most of the obligations should be performed like prayer and fasting. Ideally- a hijab wearing sister but if this is being worked on currently- that is fine. Some sort of furthering of islamic understanding- even at a simple or basic level e.g. watching islamic videos on YouTube. No one is perfect- especially not me- so someone who can encourage me and I can encourage them like-wise would be great.
